Context

Our customer was experiencing low uptime, caused by the usual hardware and system failures, but long MTTR.  They had no unified server and data center monitoring tool, and no automation. They were looking for a solution to understand what was going on with their servers at a click of a button, and have automated tickets with solid alerting.

Context

Our customer is facing several issues with business-critical applications for its customers, due to inconsistent alignment between two master production systems (the first one on mainframe environment and the second one on distributed systems)  with customers personal data.

Our customer is the  Service management team, a team with process skills and responsible for applications that are central for an insurance company, like portfolio applications, personal data masters, claims management, etc. This team is responsible for ensuring that the application development of new products or any updates made 100% by external  software factories are qualitatively in line with expectations.
